Poland was getting dressed for bed when he felt it too. Like a cloud that darkens the sky just enough that you notice the slight reduction in light. His eyes flitted about the room, and he picked up his sheathed sword. He went downstairs.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary; at least, as ordinary as things looked at 2 a.m. Then, all of a sudden, he heard a loud scream rushing up from behind him. Whipping out his sword, he swung around, scaring the shit out of Lithuania.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Poland cried, helping her back to her feet. She glared at him and muttered, "It's fine. What are you doing down here, anyway?"

Not Your Parents' Love BoatFinland was, to put it bluntly, not having the best time in the world. Estonia, now on her fourth day of pregnancy, had started experiencing the beautiful stage of gestation known as "morning sickness", and known colloquially by Finland as "barfing out one's intestinal tract".
The destroyer he had commandeered was now passing Latvian shores. He kept checking the coast, and the Soviet flag remained flying. Everything seemed peaceful. All Finland needed to do now was to slip by unseen, which was easier said than done.
The boat was pretty nice- for a warship- and had decent firepower. When she wasn't heaving her guts out into the Baltic, Estonia was running the radar, checking for planes and missiles. Finland was piloting. He had a watch on the coast, keeping tabs on the coastal Soviet garrison that could easily blast them from there.

"Enough," snapped Boss, "Hassan is bringing in a squad of mercenaries from Kazakhstan. We think he's making a move against Gyldensted soon and we need to keep track of their movements. Traditional surveillance isn't going to be effective here."
She paced around to the the front of her desk and leaned against it, arms crossed.  "Hassan has stayed under our radar for so long that he's had time to build up his defences unnoticed. His building is locked up tighter than Fort Knox and we can't get an undercover agent in to set any listening devices.”

Her speed had not been eroded by the past ten years. Suddenly, she had his hair in her fist, and was growling into his face. “What did you call me?”

It wasn't a thought he was particularly proud of, seeing as that the subject of those thoughts practically saved him from rape, but none the less, there it was. It was still very early in the day, and though Skári had the perfect opportunity to sleep in, he found that he could not. So he rose, before the sun did, even, but not to head straight to his duties. The longer he could stay away from that snarling boss of his, the better. Instead, he sat where he was, in bed, staring at the giant barbarian woman beside him. In his mind, he recapped last night's scene over and over again.
An elf, who had taken a shining to Skári, had offered Gunnhildr a decent lump of silver and gold for one night with the maindweller as a prostitute. And then, with no real reason or motive, the barbarian woman who had saved Skári from insults just moments prior offered an even grander sum of money for The Unlikely Maid P2 by Tprinces
Mountain's Crossing Part 1
The one thing Skári would say about the trip from the inn is that it was not the most comfortable way to travel. After leaving his boss, Gunnhildr, in a state of utter, furious speechlessness, Ingrid and her fellow barbarian sisters had Skári pack his bags and lead him out to where their horses and cart lay in wait for them. The horses themselves were bigger than the barbarians, and that was saying something. Their coats were of either beautiful, deep black or warm, chestnut brown, and their hooves were draped with shaggy hair, matching their shaken manes. These beasts were so intimidating to Skári, who had worked only with travel ponies and work mules, asked politely if he could ride in their cart of things rather than on the back of one of their horses. This proved to not be a very smart endeavor.

Sorry I was gone for at least a month because my mom and her boyfriend moved out and they were paying the internet before, and I had to register for internet and get it hooked up and all that. but I got it hooked up this morning so no more waiting weeks and weeks for your submit to be accepted.

so if you submitted something and it was expired please resubmit and I will gladly accept it *if it fits the rules and is in the right folder*

btw only Humon's original pictures by her can be put in to feature.
